huish park - pub info

Near the ground
There aren't many pubs nearby. The nearest is the Arrow, about 10 mins walk from the ground. It's horrid.
The best bet is either to go to bar at the ground, which is open to away fans except for one or two exceptional matches, or to go to a village pub away from the ground.
From the South
If coming from the south, try the Red House, on the A37 just before you get to Yeovil.
From the West
You could try one of the places in Montacute, just off the A3088.
From the North or East
If you follow our recommended directions, you go past the Halfway House, which is halfway (funnily enough) between Yeovil and Ilchester. It comes highly recommended from a number of last season's visitors.
In Huish Park
The public bar at Huish Park is at the end of the main stand nearest the home terrace (ie furthest from where you enter the car parks). It's up the metal steps, and there is no lift access. It's unfortunately rather small, and so badly ventilated that it's horribly smokey. There is a larger bar for sponsors etc, but that's not generally open to the public (and it's just as smokey anyway). [ds] |
