survey 6: november 1999 - Steve Thompson as Head Coach

What do you think of appointment of Steve Thompson as head coach?

Here are the results of our survey. A detailed analysis will follow later this week, in the meantime: In general, you were pleased with the appointment. You were strongly backing the move to a full-time boss, but criticised the board for taking so long over the decision.

You valued the continuity that Steve should bring, which we see as an endorsement of Colin Lippiatt and the squad he put together. Finally, you're pretty confident that Yeovil will still have a good final Conference position this season.

Special note: Most of the votes were received before the dramatic win over Rushden, but still backed Steve. When time allows, we'll do a quick check to see how those votes received after that match differed from those received before.
