independent
coverage of
Yeovil Town
since 1995

survey 2, february 1998

by Martin Baker:

The majority of the votes were cast in the days between the Brislington match and the Hayes match.

Most of the voting was done prior to a certain number of events that occurred since that might have influenced the voting if we had done the voting later on down the line. If you'd had this extra information results may have changed. These include:

1.   John Fry's suggestions that that Fax had little to do with Roberts' dismissal (as in Question 2)
2.   Numerous rumours suggesting reasons that the board may have been justified in removing Roberts (as in Question 3)
3.   The Western Gazette claims of "player revolts" and this Web sites' subsequent dismissal of those reports (as in Question 4).
4.   Other candidates were subsequently linked to the job, who you weren't given chance to vote on, eg Clive Walker, Terry Rowles, Russell Osman, Joe Jordan, Colin Addison and doubtless a few others!
