Kylie Rolfe, Nene Park (home of Rushden & Diamonds)
OK, Rushden isn't exactly a far-flung place, but their fans do sometimes seem to be from another planet ;-)
Kylie submits these pictures taken on 13th April 1999, when she was a guest of the team. Yeovil won the match 2-1.
She writes:
Here's the photo I promised you of me and the boys at Rushden. I also thought I'd send you a couple of others - there's one on the team bus which the driver very kindly let me look around, I saw lots of dodgy things! And me with goold old Wazza - I nabbed him as he was coming in late!
The photos came out really dark for some reason, but at least you can still see what's on them. I'm in the corner next to Al-James with his arm round me. Swoon!
I'd just like to say that it was the best day I'd ever had in my life. All the guys, and Colin and Terry, were really friendly and treated us really well. I'll never forget that day.
I bet the boys remember it too, because my Dad took it and while he was taking it he fell backwards into a trunk in the dressing room!
