At the time I was serving in Bosnia on the UN tour Op Grapple 5.
My cousin wrote to me with news of how the town were doing and he mentioned something in the Western Gazette or match Day Programme (can't recall which)about YTFC supporters nationwide i.e:supporters club in London and Newcastle.
The next time I went on detail (convoy) up country(Vitez I think, supplying the sweaty socks, jocks) a friend of mine took the snap. I then sent it off to YTFC with a covering letter to then manager Graham Roberts.
I waited for about 6 weeks for a reply, finally got a reply from John Flatters who sent me a pendant, a few badges, a new scarf and a car sticker (that didn't stick) with a covering letter written on a ripped creased bit of YTFC headed paper. That's appreciation for you!
I think the photo was taken somewhere between Tomislavgrad and Mostar.
