Chris Seymour (left) and Chris White show off the ICIS Football League Championship shield after the final game of the season against Chertsey Town on 3rd May 1997.

Chris Seymour missed much of the season due to injury. The versatile midfielder and defender actually started two games in goal for Yeovil in November, a 3-0 win at Boreham Wood in the League, and a 1-0 home defeat against Yeading in the Guardian Insurance Cup.

Chris White was the longest serving player in the winning line-up, the only survivor from the Brian Hall days.
