redditch united

At the time of the Anglo-Italian competition, Redditch were near the peak of a brief rise to the top of the non-league game, have been in the Birmingham League until 1972.

They joined the Southern League in 1972, and won promotion from 1st Div North in 1975/76, and the ground rebuild was completed just in time for this tournament. They managed one season in the Conference, being founder members before being relegated in that first season.
